Herpes

Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the herpes simplex viruses type 1 (HSV-1) and type 2 (HSV-2). Most genital herpes is caused by HSV-2. Most individuals have no or only minimal signs or symptoms from HSV-1 or HSV-2 infection. When signs do occur, they typically appear as one or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum. The blisters break, leaving tender ulcers (sores) that may take two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur. Typically, another outbreak can appear weeks or months after the first, but it almost always is less severe and shorter than the first outbreak. Although the infection can stay in the body indefinitely, the number of outbreaks tends to decrease over a period of years.

There are many sexually contracted desease that we can get if we are not careful. Remember that herpes is a virus which we can get very easily if we are not careful. For example if you kiss some one who has an attack of what many of us call night fever (this is a form of herpes) then you can contract the virus.

Herpes cannot be cured and the sores can appear from time to time. This information was obtained from this website Click here to visit Site Visit this website to learn more about herpes and also speak to your a doctor, a nurse or your guidance councellor.

Rape

Many times rape is committed by someone who is known by the victim. Try not be alone with members of the opposite sex in a situation where this person could abuse the situation. If you feel that anyone has made any comment, take any action or touch you on areas of your body which is inappropriate, then speak to a responsible person such as a counsellor or your parents about this matter. Matters of sexual assault for example should be be reported to the police and the offender prosecuted.

Caring For Your Teeth

Many of us take our bodies for granted and we do not treat our bodies we out to treat it. Have you ever notice someone who has a missing front tooth or missing some front teeth? Have you also ever notice someone whose gums are receding and their teeth sticks out of the gums making them look very strange?

Well, if you don't clean your teeth properly and you also do not go to the dentist periodically to have your teeth cleaned, then you could develop plaque and this causes your gums to recede.

Some of us make an extra effort of cleaning and cleaning our teeth with hard toothbruches which damages the enamel of our tooth. On the other hand some us fail to clean our teeth after meals and this lead to food lodging between the teeth and when this is left there for a long time, this then leads to bacteria developing which leads to your teeth being damaged by these bacteria.

It's important to look after your teeth because not only will you lose your tooth which makes it difficult for you to chew your food properly but deterioration and loss of your teeth will make you look far older than you really area.
